Ingredients
- 4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced and separated in rings
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Place potatoes, onion rings, water and butter in a 2-quart casserole dish with cover.
- Microwave 10 to 15 minutes covered until potatoes are tender, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes.
- Drain if necessary.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese and cover to allow cheese to melt.
