Ingredients
- 5 or 6 peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 stick margarine
- 5 slices white bread
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Place fruit in a buttered 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
- Cut the crust from the bread slices and cut each slice into 5 fingers or strips.
- Place the bread fingers over the fruit.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour, egg and butter.
- Pour over the fruit and bread.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
