Ingredients

  • 16 c. popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 Karo syrup (dark)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Method

  • Combine in microwave safe bowl popped corn, brown sugar, butter and Karo syrup.
  • Cook 2 min on high.
  • Stir and cook 3 more min, stirring after each mix.
  • Add in 1 tsp.
  • vanilla and 1/2 tsp.
  • baking soda.
  • Stir and pour over popped corn in a bag and shake.
  • Place bag in microwave oven for another minute on high.
  • Shake.
  • Place in microwave oven for 30 seconds on high.
  • Put carameled corn on baking sheet to cold.
