Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 qt. peaches or 3 c. fruit, sweetened
Method
- Melt stick of butter in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan and sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar on top.
- Mix sugar, flour and milk together to make a batter and pour over melted butter.
- Pour sweetened fruit over batter and bake in a 450° oven for about 1/2 hour until thick and bubbly.
