Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce.) can early peas (sm.)
  • 1/3 head Iceberg lettuce (approx. 2 c.)
  • 1 c. minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • Kraft mayonnaise (approx. 1 c.)
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • Bacon bits or possibly 1/4 pound bacon, cooked & crumbled

Method

  • In 9"x13" Pyrex dish layer the shredded iceberg lettuce on bottom to cover.
  • Next layer the green pepper, then onion.
  • Layer the peas last and spread mayonnaise over the top.
  • (The peas won't be completely covered.)
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese to cover the peas and mayonnaise.
  • Then sprinkle on bacon; refrigerateand enjoy.
  • Will keep for several days.
