Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (1 3/8 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce (24 oz. total)
- 8 oz. broad noodles, cooked and drained
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- In a large skillet, brown meat well while stirring.
- Stir in onion soup mix, tomato sauce and water. Cover; simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a 2-quart rectangular baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, meat sauce and cheese, ending with cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until bubbling.
- Makes 5 to 6 servings.
