Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. margarine, softened
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. jello brand vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts, optional

Method

  • Mix in a large mixing bowl, beat until smooth and well blended.
  • Batter will be stiff.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Makes about 7 dozen.
  • You can use peanut butter or butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips.
