Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup chopped up green onion
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheese (any)
  • 2/3 cup milk

Method

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cut shortening in using a pastry blender or two knives.
  • Add all of the milk Put on floured surface and knead 8-10 times.
  • Roll out to about 3/4 inch thickness.
  • Cut into biscuit shape and bake on ungreased sheet for 12 to 15 minutes.
