- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 c. water
- 1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 1/2 medium head of cabbage, cut into chunks
- 1/4 c. macaroni
- 1 tsp. basil
- dash of pepper
Method
- Brown beef and onion in large pot.
- Stir in all other ingredients.
- Cook over medium heat until macaroni and vegetables are soft, about 20 to 30 minutes.
