- 3 Tbsp. lard
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
Method
- Mix and
- sift
- dry
- ingredients;
- sift
- twice.
- Work in lard with
- tips of fingers.
- Add milk gradually.
- Mix in with knife
- to a soft dough.
- It will drop without spreading.
- Drop by
- spoonfuls on buttered pan, 1-inch apart.
- Brush over with milk and brown in hot oven 8 minutes.
