Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- 10 to 12 slices bread, dried overnight
- sage to taste
- salt
- pepper
Method
- Bring celery and chicken broth to a boil and cook until celery is partly tender. Tear bread into cubes and pour celery and onion mixture over bread.
- Add sage, salt, pepper and butter to mixture. Pour mixture into buttered baking pan. Bake at 350° until brown around the edges.
