Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 c. rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • Healthy pinch of salt
  • 2/3 c. confectioners sugar

Method

  • Heat 1 c. chocolate chips in microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 min, stirring after 60-90 seconds.
  • Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  • Beat in Large eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir in melted chocolate.
  • Add in flour, baking pwdr, and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Stir in oats and chips.
  • Shape into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • Roll in confectioners sugar.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 6-8 min.
  • Cold on cookie sheet for 1 minute before removing.
