Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup (white)
Method
- Mix and cook to soft ball stage.
- While cooking, beat 2 eggs until peaks form.
- Slowly pour 1/2 syrup into egg mixture while beating.
- Continue beating while returning remaining syrup to cook until it spins a thin thread.
- Slowly add to beating mixture.
- Beat for about 10 minutes.
- Add vanilla (1 teaspoon) and nuts to taste. Spoon quickly on waxed paper.
