Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 c. green onions (optional)
  • bacon fat
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3 garlic cloves (optional)
  • 2 peppers (optional)
  • 1/4 lb. chicken livers (optional)
  • 2 tsp. parsley (optional)

Method

  • Brown ground beef and onion in bacon fat.
  • Salt and pepper to taste. Add rice and cover with water. Boil 1 minute, while stirring. Cover and cook until rice is fluffy and dry, about 25 to 30 minutes.
