Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger, made into patties
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Brown hamburger.
- Remove from pan and brown onion and green pepper in same pan.
- Drain off fat.
- Add ketchup, water and seasonings.
- When mixture begins to simmer, return hamburgers to pan.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add more water if needed. Remove burger to platter and put sauce over them.
