Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. cottage cheese, warmed
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. instant onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. dill seed
Method
- Dissolve yeast in water. Add cottage cheese and egg. Add sugar.
- Mix rest of ingredients together and add to liquid.
- Mix well. Turn out on floured board and fold over several times. Cover and let rise until double. Push down.
- Put into buttered casserole.
- Let rise about 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. When done, butter top and sprinkle with salt.
