Ingredients
- 3 qt. water
- 1 qt. vinegar
- about 1 pkg. of small cucumbers, washed and dried
- 1 cup canning salt
- fresh dill, alum, garlic cloves
Method
- In each jar, put 2 dill heads, 1 clove garlic, alum (the size of a pea) and cucumbers packed tightly.
- Mix water, vinegar, and salt in pan and bring to a boil.
- Pour over cucumbers and let stand about 5 minutes; drain. Heat again.
- Do this 3 times then seal.
