Ingredients
- pickles
- onions
- 1 head dill
- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 pt. vinegar
- 4 c. water
Method
- Cut pickles into slices; put in quart jars.
- Put onions on top of pickles.
- Put dill in jar.
- Make syrup with remaining ingredients (makes enough for 4 quarts pickles).
- Boil syrup. Cold pack pickle jars in hot water for 10 minutes.
