- 1 1/4 pounds beef stew meat pieces
- 2 potatoes larges, cut 1/4 th's
- 1 onion large, finely chopped
- 1 tomato large ripe, chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger minced
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced fesh
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper cayene
- 1/4 teaspoon sauce Deva Naturals Spicy Cilantro
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups water
- coriander to garnish
Method
- In a pressure cooker, saute garlic, ginger, onions and tomatoes with olive oil until sauce like consistency.
- Add the beef, and all other ingredients, mix and cook under pressure for 10 minutes. Let the cooker run out of steam and open carefully.
- Garnish with chopped coriander.
- Serve with hot steamed rice of choice.
