Ingredients
- 1/2 c. brown rice
- 1/2 c. pearl barley
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburger
- 1 large onion
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. mushroom soup
- 1 c. water
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1 can mushrooms with juice
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Method
- Brown
- meat and drain off fat (add
- celery
- and
- onions with meat)
- when
- browning.
- Add
- other ingredients and bake 1 1/2 to 2
- hours at 350°.
- Do not add salt until you taste as soy sauce is salty.
- Add more water if too dry (another cup or so).
- (Do not precook rice or barley before mixing with meat.)
