- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. cold butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In medium bowl, combine flour and sugars; cut in butter until crumbly.
- Reserving 1 cup crumb mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom and halfway up sides of 12 x 7-inch baking dish.
- Stir nuts into reserved crumb mixture; set aside.
- In large mixer bowl, combine remaining ingredients except crumb mixture; mix well.
- Pour into prepared crust.
- Top with crumb mixture.
- Bake 55 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool and garnish as desired.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
