Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. boiling water
Method
- Combine dry ingredients in large mixer bowl.
- Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
- Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Stir in boiling water.
- (Batter will be thin.)
- Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool.
- Frost with One-Bowl Buttercream Frosting.
- (Recipe on every can of Hershey's cocoa.)
