- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1 tbsp. curry pwdr
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1/8 teaspoon grnd red pepper
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 env. golden brown onion soup mix
- 1 (16 ounce.) pkg. frzn shrimp, thawed
- 1 c. frzn peas, thawed
- 1/3 c. chutney
Method
- In a medium saucepan, heat butter.
- Add in green pepper, curry, flour and red pepper.
- Stir constantly 1 minute.
- Blend in lowfat milk, water and soup mix.
- Simmer 5 min, stirring occasionally.
- Add in shrimp, peas and chutney.
- Simmer till heated through.
- Serve with white rice.
- Extra condiments can include peanuts, coconut, raisins and extra chutney.
