Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- dash of cinnamon (for top)
- 2 c. diced rhubarb
Method
- Blend 1 1/2 cups sugar and remaining ingredients except cinnamon and rhubarb.
- Fold in rhubarb and put in 9-inch greased and floured pan.
- Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon for top; sprinkle on.
- Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until done.
