Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 3 c. corn flakes
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. flake type coconut
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, slightly softened

Method

  • Stir butter and sugar.
  • Mix in cornflakes, nuts and coconut. Line bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan with 2/3 of mixture. Chill.
  • Fill with ice cream and sprinkle with remaining corn flake mixture on top, pressing lightly into ice cream.
  • Serve with chocolate topping or any other flavor.
  • May serve plain.
