- 1 lb. ground beef (16 oz.)
- 1 (26.5 oz.) can spaghetti sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, processed in blender
- 6 lasagna noodles (the no boil kind)
- 16 oz. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Method
- Cook ground beef and drain.
- If using noodles that have to be cooked, cook only until half done.
- Drain.
- Mix together the drained beef, tomatoes and spaghetti sauce.
- Spread 1 1/2 cups in bottom of deep baking dish.
- Lay 3 of the noodles on sauce.
- Then spread some more sauce and 1/2 of the cottage cheese.
- Make another layer of noodles, meat sauce and cottage cheese.
- Then add rest of tomato sauce.
- Spread Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake, covered with foil, for 1 hour at 350°. Uncover and continue to bake until cheese is lightly browned.
