Ingredients

  • 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
  • 1 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1/4 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • few shakes Tabasco
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Method

  • Toss all ingredients together, except cheese.
  • Place into greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Bake at 375° for 30 minutes or until cheese bubbles.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
  • Can be served over patty shells.
