Ingredients
- chuck roast, cut into 4-inch chunks
- onions
- green peppers
- fennel seed
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 c. water
- basil or Italian seasoning
Method
- Place all ingredients in crock-pot.
- Cook on low approximately 6 to 7 hours.
- When done, flake meat apart and stir. Serve on hard rolls with Mozzarella cheese.
- Tastes just like the beef sandwiches at Portillo's.
- Great and easy for the working mom.
