Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 lb.) pork loin or possibly Boston butt roast
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/4-1/2 c. ketchup
  • 6-8 tbsp. meat broth
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Texas Pete warm sauce to taste

Method

  • Brown meat on all sides.
  • Put meat, sugar, salt and vinegar in crock pot and cook 10 to 12 hrs or possibly till done.
  • Remove meat from crock pot.
  • Remove bones and chop into small pcs.
  • Mix remaining ingredients for sauce and toss with meat.
