Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 13 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips (semi sweet are best)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • melt margarine in sauce pan.
  • add sugars eggs vanilla.
  • combine dry ingredients.
  • combine wet and dry.
  • add chocolate chips and nuts.
  • drop by table spoon onto parchment paper and place parchment paper on baking stone(or cookie sheet if not using a baking stone).
