Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Hungry Jack mashed potato flakes
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 egg
- 3 lb. cut up frying chicken
Method
- Heat oven to 400°.
- In large bowl, combine potato flakes, seasoned salt, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.
- Add margarine; mix well.
- In medium bowl, beat water with egg.
- Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture; coat all sides with potato flake mixture. Place chicken skin side up in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 55 to 60 minutes or until tender.
