Ingredients

  • 30 grams Unsalted butter
  • 90 grams Sugar
  • 1 egg Egg
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 10 grams Skim milk powder
  • 200 grams Cake flour
  • 16 grams Cocoa powder
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 Frying oil

Method

  • Combine the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and powdered milk and sift.
  • Combine butter (brought to room temperature) and sugar, and cream.
  • Now, add the egg and pour in the milk in that order and mix well.
  • Add Step 2 to the Step 1 bowl, and then mix well with a spatula.
  • When the dough comes together, form the dough into a ball with your hands and then chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Take out the dough and put it on a countertop dusted with flour.
  • With a rolling pan, roll out the dough to about an 8 cm width and cut with a cookie cutter.
  • Deep fry at about 335F (170C) to 350F (180C).
