Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Method
- Cream Crisco and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
- Beat well.
- Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk.
- Beat well.
- Add flavorings.
- Beat 4 minutes.
- Pour into a well-greased and floured tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
