Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 c. chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3/4 c. crushed seasoned croutons

Method

  • Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth.
  • Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, onion, cheese and pimento.
  • Stir. Separate rolls into 4 rectangles; seal perforations.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture into center and pull four corners of dough to center and seal.
  • Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with crushed croutons.
  • Bake on cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.
