Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten

Method

  • Heat oven to 400*F.
  • grease a 9 inch baking pan, set aside.
  • in a bowl mix together, cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder, using a wire whisk, give it a couple of swirls to blend the dry ingredients.
  • add remaining ingredients and mix until moistened.
  • pour into greased pan.
  • bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out dry.
