Ingredients

  • 1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. white cake mix (not pudding type)
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. minus 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 c. creme de menthe, divided
  • 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate fudge topping
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Method

  • Combine cake mix, egg whites, water and 2 tablespoons creme de menthe.
  • Beat 2 minutes at highest speed with electric mixer. Reduce speed to low; beat 1 minute.
  • Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cake cool completely in pan.
  • Spread fudge topping over cake.
