Ingredients

  • 1 box Pound, Bowtie Pasta, 16 Ounce Box
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 whole Small Onion, Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 Oz. Can) Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 jar 25 Oz Jar Tomato/Pasta Sauce
  • 1 cup Light Cream
  • 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese

Method

  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onions and saute until clear.
  • Add the garlic and tomatoes and continue to cook until tomatoes start to break down a bit.
  • Pour in sauce and cream and stir well.
  • Now add the cooked pasta and cheese.
  • Toss to coat.
  • Serve immediately.
