Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. (1 small can) undiluted evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) bag (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts (optional)
Method
- Combine sugar, milk, butter, Marshmallow Creme and salt in 2-quart saucepan.
- Cook until mixture has boiled for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; add chocolate pieces and vanilla.
- Stir until everything is melted, then stir in nuts. Pour into buttered 8-inch square pan.
- Let stand until firm; cut into squares.
- Makes 2 1/2 pounds of candy.
