Ingredients
- 1 gal. plus 1 pt. milk
- 1 lb. Carolina rice
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- vanilla to taste
- raisins, boiled in water and drained (optional)
Method
- Heat milk.
- Before it boils, add rice and 1/2 the sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Keep on medium to medium-high heat and cook 25 to 30 minutes, stirring constantly.
