Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cups Italian Dressing
  • 3 whole Chicken Breasts

Method

  • Mix the sour cream and Italian dressing together and set aside.
  • It will taste strong prior to cooking but will be a very mellow mild taste after it cooks.
  • Pound your chicken breast to a more uniform size.
  • This helps the chicken cook more evenly and stay moist.
  • Shortcut recipe: put chicken in the casserole dish, top with sauce and bake at 350 degrees F until the chicken is done, about 20 minutes.
  • Long but tastier way: brown the chicken in a bit of butter for 2 minutes on each side prior to putting them in the casserole dish; top with the sauce and bake.
