Ingredients
- 3 lb. whole chicken
- water to cover
- salt to taste
- 1 1/4 c. flour and water to mix
Method
- Cook the chicken in enough water to cover until tender.
- Pick off bone, return chicken to broth.
- Bring to a boil.
- Thicken with flour mixture.
- This amount depends on the thickness you want. Cook and stir well.
- A few drops of yellow food coloring adds color.
- Serve over biscuits or mashed potatoes.
