Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. flour
  • 8 oz. (5 1/4 oz. box) vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 1 small can chocolate syrup

Method

  • Combine 1 cup water and margarine.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Stir in flour.
  • Remove from burner.
  • Cool 5 minutes.
  • Add eggs (one at a time), beating well after each.
  • Spread in lightly greased 9 x 13-inch glass loaf pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 400°. Mix pudding according to instructions on box.
  • Add softened cream cheese.
  • Beat with whisk (don't be concerned about small lumps). Pour pudding mixture into cooled shell.
  • Top with Cool Whip. Drizzle chocolate syrup on top in circular motion.
  • (May substitute with shaved Hershey chocolate bar.) Refrigerate.
