Ingredients
- 2 c. chopped fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 3 c. milk
- 2 beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Method
- Saute mushrooms and onion in butter until tender (5 to 8 minutes).
- Stir occasionally.
- Blend in flour; add milk slowly and then beef stock, stirring to blend.
- Add salt and pepper and cook, stirring constantly until soup is thickened.
