Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab meat
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 qt. milk
  • chopped parsley (optional)

Method

  • Dissolve bouillon cube in water.
  • Cook onion in butter until tender.
  • Blend in flour and seasoning with butter and onion.
  • Add milk to bouillon and gradually add to flour mixture.
  • Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  • Add crab meat; heat.
  • Garnish with parsley sprinkled over top if desired.
  • Serves 6.
