Ingredients
- 5 to 6 c. chicken broth (4 cans)
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 8 oz. Velveeta cheese
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 10 oz. pkg. chopped frozen broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with small amount water
Method
- Boil broth; add onions and broccoli.
- Bring to a boil and keep boiling for 10 minutes.
- Add seasonings and cheese; cook until cheese melts.
- Add milk and margarine; stir and heat until boiling again.
- Add diluted cornstarch and return to boil.
- Then reduce to simmer until served.
