Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. butter
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, soften
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sifted cake flour
- dash of salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cream butter and cheese, slowly adding sugar.
- Beat until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time until mixed thoroughly. Combine flour and salt; add to mixture, a small amount at a time until thoroughly mixed.
- Add vanilla.
- Cook in tube pan, greased and floured, at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove.
