Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 pkg. Hungry Jack buttermilk biscuits
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. almond extract

Method

  • Melt butter in custard cup.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Mix in another bowl sugar, cinnamon and almond extract.
  • Cut cheese into 10 cubes. Flatten biscuits into 3-inch circles.
  • Dip a cheese cube into butter and roll in sugar mixture.
  • Place in center of biscuit. Pull edges together and seal to form a mushroom shape.
  • Holding sealed edges, dip top of roll into butter then sugar.
  • Place roll, sealed side down, in muffin tin.
  • Bake at 375° for 12 minutes. Remove immediately.
