Ingredients
- 1 pkg. cranberries, washed
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 pkg. red jello (cherry or raspberry)
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 1/3 c. celery, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. apples, chopped
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- pecan halves (to decorate top)
Method
- Combine cranberries, sugar and cold water; boil until berries are tender.
- Remove from heat and add jello which has been dissolved in boiling water.
- When berries and jello mixture has cooled, add celery, apples and nuts.
- Mix and pour into 2-quart casserole dish.
- Arrange pecan halves on top to decorate. Refrigerate several hours.
