Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. cranberries, washed
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 pkg. red jello (cherry or raspberry)
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/3 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. apples, chopped
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • pecan halves (to decorate top)

Method

  • Combine cranberries, sugar and cold water; boil until berries are tender.
  • Remove from heat and add jello which has been dissolved in boiling water.
  • When berries and jello mixture has cooled, add celery, apples and nuts.
  • Mix and pour into 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Arrange pecan halves on top to decorate. Refrigerate several hours.
