Ingredients
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts (if desired)
Method
- Mix margarine, sugar and milk in a heavy 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
- Stir in chips gradually.
- Mix until melted. Add remaining ingredients, mix well.
- Pour into 9-inch greased baking pan.
- Cool at room temperature.
