Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts (if desired)

Method

  • Mix margarine, sugar and milk in a heavy 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in chips gradually.
  • Mix until melted. Add remaining ingredients, mix well.
  • Pour into 9-inch greased baking pan.
  • Cool at room temperature.
