Ingredients
- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 c. celery
- 1/2 c. bell pepper
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. Pet milk
- 2 c. cornflake crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1 c. crushed crackers
Method
- Cook seasonings until transparent.
- Mix cornstarch and milk together and add to seasonings, stirring constantly.
- Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add crabmeat and season.
- Mix cornflake crumbs and mayonnaise together and mix with crabmeat mixture.
- Pour into buttered casserole dish and top with cracker crumbs.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serves 4.
